美国国家科学院公布了2025年新增院士名单,共有本次共有120名院士及30名外籍院士当选,涵盖生物学、物理学、工程学、数学等学科。其中,首位获得诺贝尔生理学或医学奖的中国本土科学家屠呦呦,图灵奖得主、Element AI联合创始人约书亚·本吉奥(Yoshua Bengio)当选为外籍院士。

值得一提的是,2025年新增华人院士达到了13人,创下了历史新高,上榜者覆盖生命科学、数学、工程等多学科,中科大校友范汕洄、世界级数学家林芳华、哈佛大学统计系终身教授刘军等华人学者榜上有名。

资料显示,美国科学院是成立于1863年的私人非营利性组织,是美国国家科学、工程和医学的顶尖组织之一,拥有来自各个领域的知名学者和专家,包括诺贝尔奖得主和国家科学奖章获得者。美国科学院院士是基于学者在自己的领域内所做出的卓越贡献和对整个领域的重要性进行选举。截至2025年4月,美国国家科学院院士共有2662名院士,556名外籍院士。
